GENERAL
Kiewit-Kvaerner Contractors (KKC) hereby invites interested parties to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) related to the future issuance of Requests for Qualifications and subsequent Requests for Tender for the following Scope of Work/Supply/Services package in connection with KKC’s EPC services for the Hebron GBS Project in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.
SCOPE OF WORK
The Scope of Work includes the supply of Titanium alloy steel Diffusers. Diffusers require fabrication from plate materials with complex angles and tight fabrication tolerances.
The total quantity of Titanium diffusers is 14 ea. (total weight - approx. 7,500 kg).

Work generally includes:
• prefabrication (cut, prep, fit, weld) of Titanium alloy plate of various thicknesses
• pressure testing
• machining as required
• surface preparation and coating (painting)

Work Order(s) is anticipated to be awarded by 01-May-2014 with delivery of the completed Titanium Diffusers by 15-October-2014.
All raw/bulk steel material is to be free-issued and delivered to the Subcontractor by KKC. Optional transportation of the completed Diffusers may be provided by Subcontractor.
This package will be bid on international competitive basis. Invited bidders must have experience in offshore, subsea, or heavy steel fabrication, and specifically experience welding the relevant grade steel material.

Applicant(s) must clearly identify the procurement package code assigned to this EOI in their responses. Applicants’ EOI submissions must provide the complete company name and address and the names, titles and telephone numbers of two contact persons.
It is important to note that the EOI phase will be used to identify candidates that may be invited to participate in the prequalification process. Participation in this EOI process, including any statements or representations, whether oral or written between KKC and interested applicants, shall not create or be deemed to create, any binding legal relationship or contract.

There is no formal document required to submit an EOI to KKC however in all email submissions we ask that the title of the email follow the below naming convention.
