Kiewit-Kvaerner Contractors (KKC) is inviting submissions of an Expression of Interest for a potential opportunity for Prefabricated Titanium (Ti) and 6 Moly (6Mo) Alloy Pipe Spools for the Bull Arm Site, Trinty Bay, in Newfoundland & Labrador (NL), Canada for the Hebron Project.

The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to:
SC 603 Prefabricated Pipe Spools (Ti,6Mo)

The major of the Pipe Spools (Ti,6Mo) will be prefabricated into maximum allowable lengths according to contractor supplied shop drawings. The total weight to be fabricated is approximately 330 tonnes of Ti (2" to 52") AND 770 tonnes of 6 Mo (3/4" to 48"). Potential supplier will be required to have a separate exotic metal workshop that is able to cut, weld and perform necessary surface treatment according to the requirments.

In general materials will be free issued by Contractor and the pipe will generally be supplies in 6m lengths. The supplier will be responsible for transpotation of fabricated materials to Bull Arm. The supplier will also be responsible for welding pipe together after installation on Gravity Based Structure (GBS) at the Bull Arm Site.

Potential supplier will be using Company's MIPS system for material administration, recording and inspection of welds, recording of material traceabilty and recording and reporting of fabrication status and progress.

This package may be split among several suppliers.

Contract requirements will include but are not limited to the following:

- Capacity to deliver required volumes on schedule.

- Necessary facilities to deliver on the scope of work on schedule

- Ability to comply with the project's documentation and reporting requirments
- Fabrocate grade 2 titanium piping, fittings and flanges to be grade 2

- Fabricate 6 Moly (UNS 31254)pipe fittings and flanges

- Supplier's to be in accordance with Upstream Process Piping Welding and Inspection/Exxon's GP 29-03-02 (which is based on Norsok standard M-650)

- Piping and Materials to be i accordance with ASME B31.3

Capability to provide dimensional control of fabricated process and final as-built reporting to ensure compliance with fabrication tolerances.

- Develop and implement the necessary welding procedures

- Necessary tools and equipment to handle the scope of work

- Necessary non-destructive examination (NDE)

KKC in its sole discretion reserves the right to make the final determination of which applicants will receive an Invitation to Tender (ITT), which applicant(s) or combinations thereof will be awarded the final contract(s), or alternatively to not proceed with the ITT process.

The Bull Arm Fabricaton site will be operating on a special project labour agreement. A Project description is available on the Hebron Project website (www.hebronproject.com).

Kiewit-Kvaerner Contractors strongly supports providing opportunities to commercially competitive Canadian companies and in particular those from Newfoundland & Labrador Benefits questionnaire and will be asked to acknowledge their willingness to comply with the Benefits requirments. At the Invitation to Tender (ITT) stage a comprehensive Benefits Questionnaire will be required to be completed.
