HEBRON GBS Project- Bull Arm - Package: EI210 Pore Water Pressure Measurement System (formerly advertised as package number ER210)

Kiewit-Kvaerner Contractors (KKC) is inviting submissions of an Expression of Interest for a potential opportunity for an instrumentation system measuring Pore Water Pressure in the subsoil below the platform at its offshore location. Supply and installation will be at the Bull Arm site, Trinity Bay, in Newfoundland & Labrador (NL), Canada for the Hebron project.
The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to:
∑ Delivering of membrane type total pore water pressure sensors. The sensors must be suitable for subsea soil and installation on the lower part of a concrete platform below the platform. The sensors will be pressed into the soil during the installation of the concrete platform. The measuring point shall be approx. 600mm in the soil. The sensors shall be equipped with suitable cable gland for watertight connection to special armoured cables.
∑ The sensors shall satisfy IP 68 at ambient sea water pressure of 10 bar.
∑ Additional scope will be to manufacture brackets for the sensors to be mounted on concrete underneath the platform.
∑ The amount of sensors will be approx. 15 off.
General requirements to the preferred supplier:
Potential suppliers must be able to prove access to the required qualities and desired volumes. In addition to the minimum qualification requirements, suppliers that can comply with the following will be given higher scores in the bid evaluation process (this is not evaluated in the pre-qualification process):
∑ Legal Entity to be registered in NL
∑ Possibility to deliver to other locations than the yard in Bull Arm, Trinity Bay

KKC in its sole discretion reserves the right to make the final determination of which applicants will receive an Invitation to Tender (ITT), which applicant(s) or combinations thereof will be awarded the final contract(s), or alternatively to not proceed with the ITT process.
The Bull Arm Fabrication site will be operating on a special project labour agreement. A Project description is available on the Hebron Project website (www.hebronproject.com).
