TITLE: Tubular Bearings System for Mating
Kiewit-Kvaerner Contractors (KKC) hereby invites interested parties to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) related to the future issuance of Requests for Qualifications and subsequent Requests for Tender for the following Scope of Work/Supply/Services package in connection with KKC’s EPC services for the Hebron GBS Project in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.


The Scope of Work consists of, but shall not be limited to, Manufacture, Qualifications, Testing, Inspection, Packing, Supply of Goods, Services and Documentation for BN682 – Tubular Bearings System for Mating fully in accordance with the requirements in the specifications, data sheets and other documents referred in Technical Requisition to be provided with Invitation to tender (ITT).
The scope of work includes for Supplier to have overall responsibility for the administration, co-ordination, and proper completion of the materials, equipment and services defined within this requisition.
The scope of supply comprises:
210 units of Tubular Bearings assemblies (TB). Each TB consists of a 240mm deformation tube of 168mm OD and 25mm wall thickness fabricated with steel of quality API5LX52. Each deformation tube is heavily welded to a base plate of 320x320x60mm of steel quality S420SV1. The upper 180 deg. of steel tube shall be grit blasted and coated with Duralcan Thermal Spray Aluminum in order to enhance friction between TB’s and Topside. Each TB has four leveling screws for adjustment. The weight of each TB assembly is approx. 73 kgs.
