HEBRON GBS Project- Bull Arm - Package: BE532 Embedded Cables

Kiewit-Kvaerner Contractors (KKC) is inviting submissions of an Expression of Interest for a potential opportunity for Embedded Cables for the Bull Arm Site, Trinity Bay, in Newfoundland & Labrador (NL), Canada for the Hebron Project.
The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to:
∑ Delivering of cables which are designed to be embedded direct in concrete.
∑ The cable types will be:
o 1x150mm* insulated yellow/green Earth Cable. Estimated length is 600m.
o 2 pair insulated watertight instrument cable. Estimated length is 2500m.
∑ Additional scope will be to manufacture CADWELL connections of five (5) earth cables of 20 meter length each on five (5) carbon steel plates. The dimensions of the carbon steel plates shall be 80mm wide, 100mm long and 10mm thick.
∑ The cables shall comply with IEC 60092-353 and IEC 60332 (flame retardant),
General requirements to the preferred supplier:
Potential suppliers must be able to prove access to the required qualities and desired volumes. In addition to the minimum qualification requirements, suppliers that can comply with the following will be given higher scores in the bid evaluation process (this is not evaluated in the pre-qualification process):
∑ Legal Entity to be registered in NL
∑ Warehousing facility in NL for cables in general (not only related to the earth system)
∑ Possibility to deliver to other locations than the yard in Bull Arm, Trinity Bay

KKC in its sole discretion reserves the right to make the final determination of which applicants will receive an Invitation to Tender (ITT), which applicant(s) or combinations thereof will be awarded the final contract(s), or alternatively to not proceed with the ITT process.
The Bull Arm Fabrication site will be operating on a special project labour agreement. A Project description is available on the Hebron Project website (www.hebronproject.com).
