Multi-Site Water Treatment Services
This Addendum shall form an integral part of the specification to be read in conjunction therewith. This Addendum shall take precedence over all forms of the
aforementioned specification with which it may prove to be at variance or may otherwise be qualified in
writing by authorized personnel.
TENDER CLOSING:
The Tender Closing has been changed and will now close on Thursday,
June 27, 2019 at 14:00:00 Hours (2:00:00 PM) (Newfoundland Time) and open at 14:30:00 Hours (2:30 PM) (Newfoundland Time).
QUESTIONS/ANSWERS
Question 1:
As per schedule 1 all the chemical pumps, the boiler controllers, the
cooling tower controllers, dissolving boards, containment tanks and condensate coupon racks are not owned by Eastern Health and MUST be replaced as part of the quarterly pricing per site?
Answer 1:
Correct. All equipment is
owned by vendor and must be supplied by successful vendor for the duration of the contract and including in the bid sheet.
Question 2:
In Schedule B – It says to provide pricing in Schedule A – yet the pricing information
section provided is labelled as Schedule 2? Is filling out schedule 2 sufficient or is schedule A missing?
Answer 2:
There was a clerical typo in the original tender; completing schedule 2 is suffice.
Question 3:
Schedule B
– Bid sheet refers to answering questions and specifically refers to yes and no questions? Are some questions missing or is it just referring to the bidders information sheet?
Answer 3:
Yes this is just referring to the
bidders information sheet.
Question 4:
As there is no minimum technical information provided in the tender document, we are requesting an extension to allow us and Eastern Health time to collect and provide the required
information. The information provided is not enough to provide a recommendation for a water treatment program.
Answer 4:
A two week extension was granted.
